Southridge was the only area mall to have all stores opening at midnight which accounted for the large crowds of shoppers.

Southridge Mall was a hopping place late Thursday and throughout Black Friday shoppes swarmed to the mall to get some great deals.
The lines formed outside the mall well before midnight and the deals offered by retailers brought people in droves despite the dropping temperatures and heavy winds.
