The Greendale Village Board referred exterior Boston Store renovations to the Planning Commission on Tuesday's meeting.
Southridge Boston Store is requesting a permit to renovate both its north and west entrances. The application says the estimated cost for the renovation is $150,000, which would be paid for entirely by BonTon.
Boston Store is undergoing an $8 million interior renovation with the help of a $3 million TIF district from the Village. Renovations are expected to be done soon.
This also comes during a $52 million renovation of Southridge Mall, also partially funded through a TIF district.
Macy's, known as one of Boston Store's competitors, opened its brand new store in the mall back in March.
The Planning Commission typically meets the second week of the month.
