Ann Taylor Loft, Justice, Body Central Might Come to Southridge Mall
The Southridge Mall renovation is attracting new stores inside and outside the mall, which includes restaurant Longhorn Steakhouse, Panda Express and Chick-a-Fil.
Ann Taylor Loft and Justice might open at Southridge Mall, according to paperwork from the Village of Greendale.
The Milwaukee Business Journal also reported that Body Central is among the new stores opening inside the mall. Southridge Manager Mary Mokwa said she was not able to yet confirm the tenants.
The $52 million renovation has drawn a number of new tenants both inside and outside the mall, most notably the recent openings of Macy’s and H&M.
Tilly’s, Teavana, Bachrach, Crazy 8, and Journeys Kidz will also open in the mall this fall. Meanwhile outside the mall, Panada Express and proposed Longhorn Steakhouse and Chick-Fil-a are opening on 76th Street.
Several stores have jumped on the renovation bandwagon, which inlcude Boston Store, Kohls, Buddy Squirrel, Journeys, Kay Jewelers, Maurices, Rue 21, Vanity, Wet Seal, Auntie Anne's, Rogers & Holland Jewelers and Buckle.
Peter Glaser, a retail broker with CBRE Inc. in Milwaukee, told the Milwaukee Business Journal that he believes the mall’s redesign and the new tenants could bring some upper-income residents of Milwaukee’s south suburbs who used to do their shopping at Mayfair.
Even though Mokwa could not confirm the tenants, she did say that an announcement will soon be coming.
